Study Of Local Place Names And Collective Memory.

Local place name is an important part of local collective memory,which carries the spiritual culture of the farmer,and inherits the emotion of generations of generations.Local place names have a unique process of producing,spreading,developing and dying because the rural society is an acquaintance society,and the range of local activities is limited,so the local place names are very are different from the well-known official names.Because of this,the study of local names has a scientific value that cannot be ignored.However,since the ancient times,scholars have concentrated on the official place names which are written by words instead of the Local place names which are spread from mouth to mouth.However,urbanization has changed the social geography,and the local place names are gradually forgotten,so it is of great significance to record and organize the place names.The thesis is divided into five parts,the introduction make a brief introduction of the topic origin and the research methods,and make a brief review of the academic history related to this topic.The first chapter gives a brief introduction to the village situation,the village history and the influence of urbanization on place names.Chapter 2 records and classifies the local names.Chapter 3 records the historical memory of the local place names.Chapter 4 compares the names of places that are remembered by different people.This paper tries to draw lessons from toponymy,national geography,social memory theory,folklore and other academic field of vision,hometown village area as a case,village names and native memory as the core,on the basis of a comprehensive survey,collecting and recording of village place names and related knowledge investigation,collecting and recording to discuss and think about a series of problems involving village names.This paper details the local names,explains the rules of local names,and explains the relationship between local names and local collective memory.
