A Study On The Quantifiers In Dunhuang Collected Words

Quantifier is a special kind of word class in Chinese language.After the pre-Qin period of the bud,the initial maturity of the Han,Wei and Six Dynasties,in the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties entered a relatively complete stage.The Tang Dynasty is the oral language material of the masses during the Tang and Five Dynasties.Its content profoundly reflects the language of the time and characteristics,therefore,it reflects the language value in many aspects.Dunhuang Collected Worksis a summary of the study of the data collection and is one of the most influential Anthology of finishing.After that,the paper is based on the book,which is organized and supplemented,This article takes the quantifier of "Dunhuang Collected Works" as the research object,recording and collecting all the quantifiers in the description,expecting to find out the development characteristics and basic appearance of quantifiers in this period.And then complete the Chinese quantifier system.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introductory part,including the selection of topics and sources of material,including an overview of the classification of quantifiers and the research on the development history of Quantifiers.And clarify the current situation and problems of quantifier research.So as to determine the research methods and the value of the topic.The second chapter is the description part.Firstly,this paper makes a comprehensive statistics on the quantifiers in Dunhuang Collected Works.Secondly,Using dichotomy to divide it into two categories:Noun Classifiers and momentum words.And then classify it into sub-categories.The noun classifiers are divided into four categories:individual classifier,set quantifier,measure word and noun classifier,meanwhile,the author makes a further classification of individual classifiers for descriptive analysis.Divide the momentum word into two categories:special moment and borrowed momentum.List all quantifiers in eachsub-category.Firstly,explain the meaning,thencombine the origin of the meaning of the meaning of the analysis.Explore the usage of special quantifiers and list the use cases.The third chapter is the analysis part.Mainly analyze Dunhuang Collected Works in the diversity of the function of quantifiers and the epochal characteristics from the lexical and syntactic two levels.And analyze it on synchronic plane from the aspects of configuration and word formation,syntactic function,semantic selection and combination ability.The fourth chapter is diachronic comparative analysis.Comparing the Quantifiers in the Dunhuang Collected Works with the word formation method of the quantifiers in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties.Then compare the semantic with modern Chinese quantifiers.Confirm the clear definition of the classifier and its historical position in the Dunhuang Collected Works.Finally is the conclusion part.The paper summarizes the general characteristics of the classifier system in Dunhuang Bianwen Anthology.Try to put forward the views?on the attribution of the era of language in the works of Dunhuang Collected Works from the perspective of quantifier.
