The Study For "Sandiao" Of Qiaojia's Villages

As a kind of carving art applied in Chinese traditional ancient architectual buildings,Sandiao which includes Woodcarving,Brickcarving and Stonecarving was listed in the first batch of National Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2006.It is usually combined with colored drawing which is called “Diao Liang Hua Dong” in Architecture.And They both play a special and extremely important role in Chinese traditional ancient architectual buildings.Famous as “a star of North Resident Buildings”,Qiao's Grand Courtyard which is cultured in Architecture,grunge and reginal in Shanxi's Qixian is the most typical and traditional ancient architectual buildings of Qing dynasty.Called finishing touch,Sandiao's frame member with abundant themes,strict layout and fine carving gives expression to Jin merchants' culture and craftsmans' superb technology.Therefore,it is extremely provided with artistic value.As China's economy develops at a great lick and tourism is developed overly and blindly in recent years,many traditional residences become modern coutryside buildings because of demolition or are empoldered scenic spots.And they are becoming fewer including Qiaojiabao village.Due to huge economic benefit acquired from Qiao's Grand Courtyard by the local government and civilians,Qiao's Grand Courtyard has been protecting well,but Sandiao and other residence buildings' frame members are vanishing seriously.Although these buildings and Sandiao are not as great as Qiao's Grand Courtyard in art and history value,they also are protected at the same time because they witness the history and are precious wealth left by ancestors.In addition,most of them were builded desoltorily.The examples as like Qiao's Grand Courtyard whose frame members are vanishing largely are ubiquitous.It is worth studying if we should protect these cultural heritages and how to protect them.The writer adopts literature research method,interdisciplinary research method,filed investigation method and survey method.And the paper is composed of five parts.The first introduces mainly the background of the task,practical meaning and the status quo,methods,primary coverage and innovation points of the study task.The second discusses the factors of Qiao's Grand Courtyard's formation and the reasons why Shanxi merchants rose sharply and the middle of Shanxi became rich from geography,society and history angels.The third is centered as Qiao's Grand Courtyard to introduce Sandiao's ornamentation moral and the characteristics of the decoration style.As an important part,the forth describes mainly filed investigation of the writer,Sandiao' preservation situation and analysis about reasons of preservation and loss.The fifth explores mainly how to protect existent traditional buildings and to protect and inherit intangible cultural heritage.The conclusion of the task is that these culture heritages should be protected effectively because they witness the history and accumulate traditional culture.In the protection methods we should open out the tourism reasonably on the premise of not destroying culture heritage so that traditional culture could been advertised,the funds of protection chould been gained and the local economy could been improved.
