Study On Film Music In Taiwan From "Cape NO.7" Age

"Cape No.7" plays an important role in Taiwan’s film history in the new century. Its influence is huge either in terms of theme selection and positioning or soundtrack creation in Taiwan’s local films. This paper, taking film " Cape NO.7 " as the time line, has mainly studied on great Taiwan film music from 2006 to 2015, and the current situation and development of Taiwan film music was analyzed via showing history along with the shifts and highlights for the role of Taiwan film music.In introduction part, purpose and significance of study on Taiwan film music was elaborated, and research actuality home and abroad was provided., and reviewed the development of Taiwan film music affected by its distinct geographic location and history. The first chapter followed by descriptions of film music to time and space during the age where "Cape NO.7" from. In the second chapter, the existence of many Taiwan films about musical genre and elements was explained. Music in a film began to has its new functions, as the communicating media, it can help to speak for characters; besides, film makers’control and enthusiasm for film music was delivered. The third chapter has mainly shown various musical images depicted, creation of atmosphere and communications, and how unfinished film story completed by film music in "Cape NO.7" age. At the end, in conclusion part, shifts of mainland film music in that same period was analyzed, a comparison and some suggestions were proposed. In recent years, film music creation in mainland China is faced with some problems, such as "copinism." Concerning these problems, some feasible suggestions are put forward.
