Japanese horror films "Ringu", "Ju-on" and so on can be regarded as popular horror films in the world, which also serve as the representatives of the Japanese style horror movie. Japanese horror film has a great difference between forms and contents from the western horror film, and is also different from other Asia countries, such as China, Thailand and South Korea. Affected by Japanese own national culture, ethnic beliefs and so on, the aesthetic ideas, creative demands and the control of audience psychology of artists also have a relatively stable and self-contained character. This article will discuss about the characters of creating Japanese horror movies by combining the process of producing my work which used Japanese horror films for references.
