In the law school,I have a opportunity to contact with the legal aspe cts of the translation leading by professor Ma Aiping.I have obtained lots of benefits.Translation of "Present conditions and subject of medi cal litigation proceedings(I)" is a medical litigation document,which i s selected from the 1330 of "Case Times" published by Japanese news paper.This translation practice report mainly contains five parts.The first pa rt is a description of the translation process,recording the translation p reparation,translation tools,references and translating text.The second part gives the details of "Present conditions and subject of medical liti gation proceedings(I)",including the source of the document and mai n contents.The third part is an introduction of language features,whic h analyzes on the aspects of word,sentence and discourse.The feature s of this part are:the use of a large number of specialized vocabularie s and long sentences and the language use both in specialty and popul arity.The fourth part is the most important.It introduces the features of long sentences and gives the analysis of the translation method,whi ch can be mainly divided into the analysis of the professional vocabula ry and long sentences,and comparison analysis between the translation text and the original by using the theory of translation.The last part is a summary of the translation practice,briefly talking about what the translator can get from it.
