The problem of left behind children appeared in the 1870 s.With the coming of China's reform and opening up,the economy developed rapidly.While the problem of left behind children has arisen the attention of the public.The studies that about the relations of social support of left behind children,resilience and academic performance has not been united.So what is the relations of the three things?this research is aimed at to make their relations clear,also explore the mechanism.Besides,I will talk about the resilience in a positive psychilogy way,and try to do group counseling intervention on a key factor——positive cognition,to do the intervention by group counseling.Try to improve the left behind children's positive cognition.There are two parts of this research:one is the questionnaire,the relations of social support,resilience and academic performance of left behind children.The other one is group counseling intervention,to improve left behind children's resilience by doing group counseling of positive cognition.and to provide the reference and basis for the development and education of left behind children.Key findings are listed as following:1.Among the dimension of the social support,the sure value and intimacy of teachers,students' accompany and the intimacy with mother are the predictors of their academic performance;While in resilience,the only predictor is their positive cognition of themselves.2.Social support can influence their academic performance directly,besides resilience can make an effect on it indirectly.Resilience has the part of the mediating effect between Social support and their academic performance.3.The resilience of left behind children has improved by doing group counseling intervention about positive cognition.And this suggests that it is an effective method to improve the resilience of left behind children.
