Consecutive-Verbs Sentences is a common Chinese sentence pattern.Reasearchers get lots of achievements in its ontological Chinese studying,but there are little achievements in its studying of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The Construction-Chunks Theory meets with the psychological cognition of human language,and there are lots of successes of using the Construction-Chunks teaching method to teach foreign students Chinese grammar.Therefore,teaching studying of Consecutive-Verbs Sentences based on the Construction-Chunks theory is a new studing idea and has some value.First,I investigated the present teaching situation of Consecutive-Verbs Sentences in this text,including outlines,texts,and the texts' related practices.As a consequence,I found out they all didn't pay enough attention to the teaching of Consecutive-Verbs Sentences.Second,I collected errors of foreign students' Consecutive-Verbs Sentences from the dynamic HSK composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University.By comparative analysis in their number and frequency from different point of view,I found out seven main types of their errors—omission,misusage,wrong addition,wrong sequence,evasion,generalization and other errors.And then I analyzed the causes of these errors from interlingual factor,intralingual factor,teaching strategy factor of teachers,learing strategy factor of students and cognitive factor of chunks.Finally,basing on the studying above,I wrote five teaching designs — “displacement — assignment” design,“means —displacement/assignment” design,“object — disposition” design,“body — feeling”design and “premise—aim” design,then put forward the arrangement suggestions of outlines,texts and the texts' related practices.
