A Study On The Official Jinshi Of Ming Dynasty

The imperial examination system originates from Sui Dynasty,and develops maturely in Ming Dynasty and becomes the main official selecting approach.The imperial examination system changes the fate of many scholars out of poor family,and at the same time it benefits the country to fully dig talents.In Ming Dynasty,scholars of Jiangxi perform very well,and the amounts of passing the imperial examination always rank top at that time.This paper takes the Jinshi of Jiangxi of Ming Dynasty as the research object,combining the previous research achievements,through researching and statistics to relevant literature,to explore the official situation of Jinshi of Jiangxi of Ming Dynasty from the following four aspects:Firstly,it introduces the basic official situation of Jinshi of Jiangxi in Ming Dynasty.This part has classified statistics to 2498 Jinshi whose official situation can be looked up of Jiangxi in Ming Dynasty.Among them,there are 937 central officials,1552 local officials,and 556 officials over the third grade.Secondly,it researches the Gechen from Jiangxi,the Six Departments,the Imperial College,Yanguan in the central officials.This part researches and have statistics to the amounts of Jinshi who once took the post of the official positions of Jiangxi in Ming Dynasty,and analyzes them from native place,age,office holding and moving and so on.Thirdly,it researches the Dufu in local officials.This part takes “official chronology in Ming Dynasty” and “Dufu chronology in Ming Dynasty” as the main materials,compares and researches the differences of the two books in the recording of Dufu,and explores Dufu from Jiangxi from two aspects of Dufu office area and moving situation.Fourthly,it states the contribution of Jinshi of Jiangxi in Ming Dynasty.From two views of political life and cultural life,this part analyzes the political status and cultural contribution of Jinshi of Jiangxi in Ming Dynasty.
