Georgia O'Keeffe is one of the most famous painters in the United States.Few female artists can match with Her achievement in the history of art.Her "flower"theme works are the most influential.Her original work accommodates the aesthetic style of American painting and the aesthetic way of oriental painting.Many of the themes of the works,in the painting method to use the same tone between the subtle changes,with rhythmic beauty,and micro-view of the flowers,the bones of the desert,and the desolate American inland landscape.Georgia O'Keeffe is works up to more than two thousand pieces,her works style changeable,she never stopped at the existing achievements,and kept looking for the expression of self-ideal painting.This article start from her different periods of work and divided her art into three period.Through the study of her painting period to understanding the characteristics and unique language of her art deeply.From three perspectives to further analyze why her work has a unique charm.O'Keeffe is position in the history of art is not only a personal achievement of a woman,but also affect a large number of contemporary painters,although she did not admit that she belongs to any female artist or feminist group(and asked others to think her as a painter,rather than a female painter),but her style of work and painting concept is still benefit to contemporary female painters.So the third part of this article from the O'Keeffe on the impact of painting and the other art categories to start,to analyze her impact on contemporary art.In the author's painting experience,O'Keeffe is also as such a female subtle influence on me At last I combined my own painting experience to analyze the impact of O'Keeffe on me.
