| As relatives of the emperors,the Ming imperial princes devoted themselves into books-printing and collecting with remarkable achievements,and even became a phenomenon,which was unique in ancient Chinese feudal dynasties.Jin was one of the typical examples.This paper uses the methods of philology and history to absorb the useful research results of Chinese and foreign scholars,Through the study of books-printing and collecting in Jin in the Ming Dynasty,collects the version information of Jin’s books and discusses the internal-external causes,the remarkable representatives and deeds,the source and circulation of master copies,the impact of characters on works,as well as the features and value of books,at last,sums up the stage characteristics and content distribution of Jin Fan books-printing and collecting.Hope that with this study,on the one hand to complement the research of Jn fan books-printing,on the other hand to fill the gaps in Jin fan books-collecting.The phenomenon of printing and collecting books begun to appear since the enfeoffment of the first prince of Jin,which reached the peak in the mid-fifteenth century to the end of sixteenth century(Chenghua to Wanli period)and came to the summit in JiaJing four years to JiaJing sixteen years.The books-printing focused on collected works with few scriptures,calligraphies,physiognomies and buddhist scriptures,most of which were the master copies of Song and Yuan editions.The books-collecting included classics,history,philosophy and belles-lettres,most of which were the Song and Yuan editions and handwritten copy of Ming Dynasty.In addition,the stone inscriptions and paintings also had rich species and high quality.Except for a small amount of the master copies of books-printing and collecting from endowing,mostly from the princes through the purchase,exchange,copy to collect.With the decline of Jin,a large number of books were circulated into the market and private book collectors in a variety of ways.After the Ming Dynasty,many books of Jin were moved to the Qing imperial court.Officials and scholars of Jin and the non-imperial literati and officials played an important role in printing and collect books,which could be regarded as the collateral evidence from the prefaces and postscripts for books-printing of Jin.Finally,books-printing of Jin tended to use the traditional process as other fanfu,which had a unique value in content and layout. |
