Homosexuality accompanies from human life,as a subculture in human civilization;it has a long history and bumpy development process.In recent years,with the social status of gay liberation and the homosexual theme of the film began in the horizon of the art field.Since Chu Yuan's Confessions of a Chinese Courtesan released in 1972,Hong Kong's lesbian movies started a new era.Directors in Hong Kong began to take lesbian characters as movies' protagonist.From the existing Hong Kong lesbian movies,most of them use images to show the life style of lesbians under the double repression of patriarchy and heterosexual hegemony,which led to the Community's gender identity,identity,marginalization and other issues of lesbians are considered.In this paper,the image of the lesbian movies in Hong Kong is the object of research,then explore the female image,male image and parental image in the movies,among which female image shows “living elsewhere” and the condition of heterosexual pattern,male image clings to patriarchal system and male power system,and parents image is the affirmation and reference of the self-construction of the same sex.These series of images show us living space and psychological world of lesbian,mining unfair treatment behind the power mechanism.The introduction part broadly introduces the development history of our country's lesbian and Hong Kong lesbian movies at first.Then,this part introduces the research actuality.The last is the subject characteristics and innovation.The text includes four chapters.The first chapter makes a detailed overview of Hong Kong lesbian movies.It mainly discusses this part on three aspects: the characteristics of Hong Kong culture,the concept and cause of lesbian,and development of Hong Kong lesbian movies.The second chapter is about female images of Hong Kong lesbian movies.The female images divided into three categories: the traditional women in the patriarchal society,ideal feminine and masculine woman under the heterosexual mode,and the aestheticism along girl.These female images reflect lesbian's living condition in tradition and reality together.The third chapter is about male images of Hong Kong lesbian movies.It includes positive and negative male images.Then analyze the male images through Lacan triangle pattern in order to better reveal the deep implication behind the image.The fourth chapter is the lesbian image construction in the social structure.Analyzing the image of parents and lovers can further interpret the lesbian image.Father is a state of absence,mother is looking-glass self and lover is a projection of the self.The conclusion makes a summary of above content.Lesbian movies not only show the existence of homosexuality,but also reveal the living space and the psychological world of lesbian.And point out that some lesbian movies through perspective of the difficult situation of lesbians,promoting people to rethink the power mechanisms behind these unfair treatments,thinking about the possible way of the future.
