| This paper systematically compares the differences of the Chinese “了” and “????”of Thai language in the syntactic,semantic and pragmatic aspects,on the basis of the usage of “ 了 ”in the HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University and in the compositions of the Thai students in GuangXi University for Nationnalities in order to describe the inter-language system of “了” through error analysis and acquisition order.According to error analysis,the Thai foreign students will make the following 6 kinds of mistakes: easily omission of “le1”when the verb is followed by a resultative complement;addition of “le1”after the volitive auxiliary;disorder of “le1” when the verb is followed by a subsequent clause;omission of “le2 ”in the “V/adj(+O)+le”structure;addition of “le2 ”in the negative structure;disorder of “le2 ”when the verb is followed by a simple object.By making a study into the acquisition order of the syntactic structure of “le ”,the following conclusion can be drew:“tai +adj.+le2”>“kuai / yao+V/Num +le2”> “adj./N/Nub+le2”>“V+le1+ volume/ time volume /momentum(+O)” > “V1+le1+(O/Num)+V2”> “V+le2” >“bu+V/adj+le2”>“bie +V+le1+O”> “V+le1+O”>“V+O+le2”>“V+ Num(+O)+了2”>“mei(you)+V(+O)+le2”>“V+le1+O/Num+le2”>“V+le1+V”。Finally,according to the acquisition order and characteristics of “le”,suggestions are made on the teaching order of “le” for the Thai students. |
