This thesis is based on the translation practice on the Seven Simple Secrets,which mainly introduces 49 simple secrets on how to manage the lessons processes effectively,from English to Chinese.The original document is characterized by easily-understood language,filled with funny jokes and convincing educational stories.Therefore,this thesis mainly aims at aspects that affect the translator's expressing in target text when translating the English titles of the educational text into Chinese,and attempts to offer some instructive approaches in order to avoid the mistakes caused by the unequivalence of two languages and to minimize the original information loss,ensuring the accuracy of the target text and its faithfulness to the source text.The author tried the methods of literal translation,liberal translation and corresponding translation in the later translation task and achieved good effect,and attempted to summarize the main principle of translating English titles.Therefore,the author suggests that these translation approaches mentioned play an important guiding role on delivering the information of the original text while keeping its function in the target text as well.
