Discussion Of Traditional Spirit And Innovation Of Liu Guohui's Ink Figure Painting

Chinese painting's traditional spirit is a microcosm of the Chinese culture. The noumenon of all things is Daoist in the Chinese culture.Chinese ink figure painting is no exception,which come out of Daoist.But today's painting group presented us a complexion with complicated thought of painting,which called “eight fairies lead sea, each show magical power”.What is the traditional spirit of Chinese ink figure painting, anyway? In this paper,we take the Liu Guohui's three works,which are Jasmine, Shaanxi People, The Triumph of Yuefei as examples.Through analysis of his technique and artistic style, this paper try to discuss traditional spirit and Innovation of Chinese ink figure painting.
