The Research Of Exhibition Space Design Based On Narratology

With the development of the social sciences, people put forward higher requirements to the exhibition space.The simple list type exhibition has been unable to satisfy people's needs, therefore, exhibition space design need to find a new breakthrough point. At this point, the narrative of the interdisciplinary trend began to infiltrate paint, film, architecture, etc. Narrative is the process of Narrator to convey information to the reader, and exhibition is the process of exhibitor transmit information to visitors, apparently there is a inevitable inner link between the two, this paper through the related theory of the narrative to explore the exhibition space design and provide a new theoretical basis for the exhibition space design.Through the literature research, this paper demonstrated the feasibility of the exhibition space design based on the narrative. Through the study of the related theories of the narrative and display space design, the application status of the present narrative in the display space design is summarized, and the existing problems are found. Through the study of the narrative deconstruction of display, the internal relations between the exhibition and the narratology in the basic elements, expression, and the time sequence are analyzed. Through the case "people-centered humanities exhibition space" and "events-centered humanities display space ", it analyzed the exhibition space construction based on the narratology in the construction of the basic elements, the construction of the expression way and the construction of the time series, then put forward the corresponding optimization. Finally, from the aspects of inspiring creative inspiration, riching space form, deepening the cognitive experience, this paper discussed the inspiration of the design of exhibition space based on the narrative theory, and summarized the whole paper.
