In the process of learning Chinese as a second language, The polysemous verb expecially the common using verb is always a difficulty to learners. This thesis analyzed the polysemy verb “yao” and "zuo" as an example, investigated and analyzed the usage of polysemous verb for Indonesian Intermediate and Advanced Chinese Learners. First, based on the perspective of lexical semantics and the comparasion of Chinese and Indonesian analyzing, Secondly to search the output of intermediate and advanced Indonesian Chinese Learners’ use frequency, distribution and error rate from the interlanguage corpus. Last, with a further lexical test to analyze Indonesian students in using the polysemous verb and its tendentiousness.Based on the study, the usage of “yao” and “zuo” for Indonesian Chinese Learners are dominated to one or two commonly meanings. This paper also analyzed errors on the categories. The common errors are in its basic and common meaning, whereas the high ratio errors are overrepresentation and overinclution. The errors causes analyzing based on negative transfer of L1, the shortage of L2 knowledge and the materials and method of teaching. And also analyzing the factors which influence the comprehension and usage of polysemous verbs. Lastly provide the suitable teaching and learning suggestions. |
