With the development of Chinese language international education,the research about teaching materials is also growing vigorously. As an indispensable part in teaching material system,teacher’s handbook can offer teachers the knowledge of the textbook and students,accelerate the combination of theory and teaching practice,discover and remedy textbook’s deficiency.More and more researchers have noticed the importance of teacher’s handbook,while few of them are doing research on it.We selected teacher’s handbook of Integrated Chinese and Contemporary Chinese as object of study,by using literature research method,method of comparative analysis and quantitative statistics,investigated their similarities and differences on compiling concept,content framework,teaching procedure,teaching method and language comparison.We concluded that the compilation of teacher’s handbook should follow principles of guidance,systematicness,pertinence,practicability and diversity,and also pointed out some aspects that we should pay attention. We hope that it will play a enlightening role in the compilation of teacher’s handbook for comprehensive Chinese course.
