Study On Taiwan Scholars For Taiwan Chorographies In Qing Dynasty After The Victory Of Anti Japanese War

The Qing Dynasty unified Taiwan in the twenty-two years of Kangxi(1683). The same year, the first Taiwan magistrate arrived in Taiwan. From Kangxi 23 years(1684), the first "Taiwan Fu Zhi" was compiled by the magistrate of Taiwan Jiang Yuying, to Guangxu 20 years(1894), Taiwan was be occupied by Japan in the Sino Japanese War, during the rule of the Qing Dynasty more than 200 years, Taiwan had edited nineteen times chorographies, a total of more than 40 species of compiling chorographies, there are a lot of number and among them many are excellent works,so it has very high research value.After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, the recovery of Taiwan, both the Taiwan scholars and the mainland scholars gradually began to study of the Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies.Due to the historical reasons, Taiwan scholars engaged in research in this field should be earlier than the mainland scholars, and made quite fruitful research results.The Taiwan scholar’s study on Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies will be the core content in this paper, reviewing the research process of the Taiwan chorographies by the Taiwan scholars,from the victory of Anti Japanese War to this day in Taiwan, bringing together the research results of the Qing Dynasty’s Taiwan chorographies, discussing the characteristics and problems of Taiwan scholars in researching Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies, hoping that the mainland scholars has an overall grasp and understanding to Taiwan’ s research of the Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies, making convenience for the exchange of chorographies scholars on both sides.This paper is divided into four chapters, besides introduction and conclusion.The introduction mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic, the summary of the research, the object of study and the innovation points and so on.Taiwan local research team of Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies will be the research object in the first chapter. In addition to the overall analysis on the outside,the author also lists the three most representative scholars and their works. the Taiwan local research team of Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies are divided into:government personnel, colleges and universities, the local researchers for studying local culture and history, among them,colleges and universities has the largest number and is the main force. In the three representatives, Fang Hao has made the greatest contributions in studying of Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies, he has also made the most achievements, the author with many words is discussed Fang Hao’s main research results of Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies after his moving to Taiwan. Zhi bin Gao is a well-known Taiwan cultural workers and published many research papers about Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies, as editor of the Taiwan bibliography problem-solving: chorography which is a literature reference book of comprehensive understanding Taiwan and also is the problem solving informative and sophisticated research. Chen Jiexian is a famous experts of the Qing Dynasty history on both sides of the Taiwan,and then he became to be a chorographies scholar. Hisstudy, the study on Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies, is representative of the chronicles, also is an important reference book to engage in local chronicles of Taiwan in Qing Dynasty study in currently.The second chapter mainly elaborates the research achievements of the Taiwan scholars in Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies. Taiwan scholars of Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies had studied more results in papers, and a small amount of publications.The research content mainly about 4 parts:Taiwan local history of Qing Dynasty, organizing and using chorographies heritage of Taiwan in Qing Dynasty,researching of Qing Dynasty Taiwan localrecords version, making use of the material in the chorographies of Taiwan in Qing Dynasty to study the local history.Taiwan also made remarkable achievements in the collection, collation and publication in old edition of Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies, under the joint efforts of government agencies, non-governmental organizations and individuals, made the old edition of Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies increased and be widely circulated. At the same time, Taiwan scholars make full use of the historical records of Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty, promoted the development of the history of Taiwan.The third chapter discusses the characteristics of old edition of Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies.With the change of the social environment of Taiwan for decades, Taiwan Qing Dynasty ’study shows the stage characteristics. From the point of view of the Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies research content,Taiwan scholars studying on Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies have the characteristics of comprehensive.And both records the basic information and the compilation process,style and content, or historical value, Taiwan scholars have discussed all of them; and from the point of view of research groups, official and private research combined is also noteworthy feature of the system in Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies. In this chapter, through the analysis, the author thinks that, in recent years, the studying of Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies by Taiwan scholars is gradually into the low tide with the changing situation; lack of direction and the research results of fragmented; research scope is more and more narrow, the overall study is less and less; Cenozoic research results less become the problems existing in the study.In the conclusion, the author through combing the writing context, review the contents of the article, pointing to the thrust of the article, hoping that mainland scholars can understand process of Taiwan scholars study on Qing Dynasty Taiwan chorographies after the victory of the Anti Japanese War,and hoping that young scholars in Taiwan can make a comparative study between Taiwan and Mainland chorographies in Qing Dynasty,to deepen exchanges on both sides of the ethnographic field.
