| Whether in China or Japan, Awa Naoko is a well-known writer of fairy tales.During the 50 years of her writing career, there has a total of 155 pieces of works for us, which is quite productive in the fairy tale world.Based on her representative works, "The Song of the Wind and the Trees", "White Parrot Forest", "The Remote Village of Wild Rose", "ere forgotten in the wind a handkerchief" and "silver peacock" as the key points, to analysis Awa Naoko’s views of nature in her works.In this paper, starting from the following three aspects.There has a summary of Awa Naoko’s fairy tales and the characteristics of the natural description in her fairy tales in the first chapter. It from the aspects of the main scene--settings and themes to study the characteristics of Awa Naoko’s fairy tales.Then,from the respects of vision, hearing and gustation to summarizes the characteristics of natural description in the fairy tale. On the aspect of vision, she uses rich color skillfully, especially the blue and red series; On the aspect of hearing, by describing the singular voice, she analyzes the peculiar of nature; On the aspect of gustation, this paper discusses the natural products from the mountains and the sea.The second chapter expounds Awa Naoko’s views of nature and her views in the work. This paper shows Awa Naoko’s love and worship of nature by the various appearing of mana elves in the fairy tales.Then, by describing the season changing and life metempsychosis in the fairy tale to expound Awa Naoko’s confident in natural metempsychosis. In addition, her works show the awe of nature by describing human beings against nature and be punished.The third chapter has an exposition of the reason for the formation of Awa Naoko’s conception of nature based on the results of previous chapter. And ten find out that the life experience, traditional culture in Japan and the special social environment are reasons for author’s view formation. |
