The Research And Create Of The Dark Fairytale Picture Book

Picture book emerged late in China,The picture book reading started in the Taiwan area from the sixty or seventy’s of last century, and until the last ten years, The Taiwan picture book writer Ji Mi’s adult picture books started publishing in the mainland, then led to the development of the picture book in mainland market. At present, the number of the domestic market of the original picture book is far more than the number of Introduction picture book. Also, in original adult picture books, the quality and traditional cultural characteristics is not so good. This paper Based on the present situation as the breakthrough point, combined with the theme and form of dark fairytale books, use the traditional art style, to make the performance of the innovation and find some significance of the local picture book.This paper based on the visual manifestation of the dark fairy tale as the research object, analysis the work values and visual form of the dark fairytales, combined with the traditional elements and domestic market situation, analysis the market advantages and potential of the dark fairy tale picture books which have traditional culture and artistic elements.In this study, combined with the practice, through the creation of picture book The wolf and boy. Explore the localization visual expression of the dark fairy book. Research on how to heighten the atmosphere of the screen and express the story use the character, composition, color and other visual language.to explore the using of the traditional elements and folk art patterns in picture books. I expect this research can put forward a good solution for the the lack of original picture books in Chinese market.
