Gutierrez's Viewpoint Of Liberation-A Study Of Liberation Theology

This paper sets Gustave Gutierrez's "liberation theology" as the research object,which is the core book in the history of Latin American liberation theology, and tries to decipher the clues of logic of the text, and clarifies the basic meaning of the concept of the core.This paper consists of three parts, the first part introduces the background of liberation theology and its history. The second part is about the original "chapter 2:liberation and development", in this part, the paper concludes that the development course of the concept of liberation: "specific- general- specific".Third part deciphers the section "Christ and complete liberation" in "chapter 9: the liberation and salvation", in this part,Gutierrez explains the third link of the development course of the concept of liberation in more depth, that means he discusses the concept of liberation from the angle of Christian theology, in particular, it can be divided into two aspects, on the one hand, the concept of liberation is explained from the point of view of "vertical clue", the evolution history of the Catholic church's official texts, and on the other hand it is from the point of view of "divergent clue", the relationships between a few core concepts in the theory of Christian theology and liberation.
