After the foundation of New China, along with the rapid development of China economy, the world focuses its sight on China with five thousand years of history.Keeping up with the trend of the history, our government has developed the economy,and spread excellent Chinese traditional culture to the world. As a result, Confucius Institutes has been brought into existence. The first Confucius Institute was established in Seoul in 2004, and soon after that the number of Confucius Institutes increased with a geometric growth. The development of Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms corresponds to a lack of Chinese volunteer teachers, in order to be prepared for future talents and to satisfy for the need of the promotion of Chinese language, the colleges and universities are beginning to set up the master's program of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages(TCSOL). On the one hand, the quick development of Confucius Institute is affirmed all around the world, while on the other hand, Confucius Institutes are faced to the shortage of qualified Chinese teachers. Not only the development of international Chinese but also the sustainable development of Confucius Institutes is confronted with the bottleneck. Therefore, how to train the qualified Chinese teachers fit for the development of Confucius Institutes is the major topic for future research.In this essay, the author made a meticulous survey and analysis of teachers in Confucius Institute of Betong Thailand. Then she made a contact with the master's degree of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages(TCSOL)in Chongqing University and find out the advantages and disadvantages of the personal training of international Chinese education. Furthermore according to the internship experiences of the herself, the author made tentative proposals to get a balance between the “demand”of Chinese volunteer teachers for Confucius Institute and the “supply” of masters of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages(TCSOL).The essay consists six chapters. Chapter I introduction generalized the background of the essay, research purpose, research significance, research innovation, research methodology and research framework; chapter 2 combs to summarize domestic and international relevant research literature; chapter 3 focuses on the current situation and the Chinese volunteer teachers of Confucius Institute of Betong Thailand; chapter 4analyzes the personnel training of masters of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of OtherLanguages(TCSOL)in Chongqing University; chapter 5 puts forward to the reasonable proposals of fostering the excellent teachers and optimizing curriculum provision for the masters of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages( TCSOL) in Chongqing University; chapter 6 makes a summery of the essay.
