Chinese promotion is the event of a country or a nation, which is an important manifestation of the comprehensive national strength of our country. The promotion of modern Chinese started at the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China. After decades' development, the promotion of Chinese at home and abroad has made brilliant achievements. At the beginning of the 20 th century, the promotion of Chinese which is in the international scope has made unprecedented achievements in the promotion of the language.but the Chinese international promotion is faced with different promotion situation. With the peaceful rise of China's economy, overseas Chinese promotion is misunderstood by many people as the language of the intrusion and tried to boycott the establishment of the local Confucius Institute and the international promotion of Chinese language to be formulated in accordance with the promotion policy of the current promotion of the language environment and the situation of our country. Solving such problems can promote Chinese promotion to develop constantly.At present, the national image building of our government is an important agenda. The state is actively shaping and communicating the China's positive image of the country, in order to reverse the negative image of China in the eyes of the modern western people and seek better international status. The focus of national image is one of the academic researches. Scholars mostly study the definition of national image, route of transmission, audience psychology direction, the image of the country and the language of books now rarely published. We hope that through the study of the relationship, we can make contribution to the scholars in this field and also to provide some reference for our Chinese language promotion policy.Chinese promotion is the important content of the image of the national language, is also a part of the national image. So they are closely related. Through the exploration between the two internal relations and finding out the factors of the Chinese promotion's rise and fall, we can provide a reference for the formulation of the promotion of Chinese. This paper adopts literature research method, statistical method, influence the evolution of research since the founding of the People's Republic of China China's national image on the promotion of Chinese development, find out the internal connection between them, evolution on national image on the promotion of Chinese rise and fall.This article has three parts:The first part talks about the relationship between the national image and the international promotion of Chinese. And then introduce the national image and the changes of the image of China in different periods. In this part, the thesis first defines the image of China and the Chinese language, and then divides three stages to study the evolution of the national image after the founding of the PRC and its influence on the international promotion of Chinese.The second part talks about the role of national image in the promotion of Chinese. On the basis of the classification of national image function, this thesis expounds the role of the international promotion of Chinese language from different aspects, such as politics, economy and cultural function.The third part talks about the enlightenment of the current national image construction. Foreign policy, Chinese promotion in a certain extent, the audience is consistent, so this part of the analysis of China's foreign policy on the basis of the big needle, proposed for the current Chinese international promotion of some of the strategies.
