Research On The Application Of Dance "Prop"

The paper adopts the application of “prop” in the listed female group dances in National Dance Competition as the research object,focuses on investigating the Fifth,Sixth,Seventh,Eighth,Ninth and Tenth National Dance Competition,and makes a objective and scientific summary and analysis of the application of “prop” in the listed female group dances in National Dance Competition pragmatically.According to video data,a total number of 185 female group dances were listed for live finals and126 of them have made use of different dancing props in the competition,accounting for 68.11% of the total female group dances in the finals.Considering such a high proportion,the author maintains that it’s of great significance to carry out an in-depth analysis over the application of prop in female group dance.In order to analyze the application of “prop” in the selected female group dances in National Dance Competition,an independent category is defined for the “prop” dance and within the category,a historic andlongitudinal investigation is carried out on the female group dance in the competition only.In the process,the paper employs the research method of choreoecology and confirms “the prop” in the female group dances in National Dance Competition as the core.Through clarifying and delving into the expression forms and application characteristics of the “prop” in competition works,the paper faithfully reflects the significance of the“prop” in dancing works,aiming to provide theoretical references for the application form of “prop” in the creation of modern and contemporary dances.The paper consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.In the first part,the paper gives a brief introduction of the research object,research meaning,literature review and research method.The second part is comprised of four chapters.In the first chapter,the paper defines the concept of the listed female group dances in National Dance Competition and makes a summary of the prop application in the listed female group dances,thus confirming the logic starting point for the whole text.In the second chapter,with the “commonly-used small prop” dance as a point of penetration,the paper summarizes the form of restriction and extension expressed in the works with “commonly-used small prop” and outlines the application characteristics of the expression form in facilitating the formation of a specific dance style through expounding the application of“folding fan” and “long sleeves” in dancing works.In the third chapter,the paper carries out a horizontal comparative analysis over the application form of “large display prop” in competition works and elaborates on the application characteristics and functions of the virtuality and spatiality of “large display prop”.In the fourth chapter,the paper focuses on the dances with “special small prop” and interprets the deep meaning of the prop in dancing works based on the expression form of the concreteness and symbolism of “special small prop”.In the third part,a comprehensive conclusion is reached on the research result,theoretical value and practical significance of the paper.
