Academic emotions is the sum of various emotions which refer to students experienced in the process of learning or teaching. Academic emotions are closely linked to all aspects of learning activities, and have a great influence on students' academic achievement, learning attitude and mental health.Sandplay therapy is a method which using sand, sand table, a miniature model of a person or thing for psychological counseling and psychological treatment, make full use of spontaneously and autonomy in the creative process itself, maximize to provide visitors with acceptance, tolerance, positive attention and full trust environment, promote individual vent negative emotions, gradually activated inner healing power.In this study, forty middle school students from Nanchang were investigated by the junior high school students' academic emotions questionnaire which developed by Lv Jingjing, and selected four students from ten students who have higher scores on negative academic emotions and lower scores on positive academic emotions according to the principle of teacher interviews and students voluntary. Each case had nine times Sandplay within three months, Guidance guide the case to deeply feel the sand works, freely vent academic emotions, and actively pay attention to their own changes. Through the analysis of four cases of sandplay works, sand, variations on the theme and the differences of academic emotions score of the cases before and after the test to explore effectiveness of sandplay therapy on regulation of junior high school students' academic emotions.Research conclusion:Sandplay can help to regulate the junior school students' academic emotions.(1) With the progress of sandplay, the sandplay works of the four cases changed towers positive direction,the sand application frequency of four cases increased and often to use sand creatively, the number of negative theme in the sand reduced, the number of positive theme increased gradually;(2)After sandplay,the positive academic emotions scores of the four cases improved and lower scores on the negative academic emotions;(3)Four cases in the sandplay process can effectively express the negative academic emotions and reflect the changes of academic emotion and psychological development, enhance the self-confidence of the case.
