An Ethical Review Of China's Citizen Jounalism In We-media Era

It is the We-media era,citizen journalism is the typical style of news in the environment.To analyze the phenomena of China's citizen journalism from the perspective of ethics under the background of We-media era is quite meaningful.Moral philosophy is a subject pursuing good which has followed right discipline from the original meaning.Based on this understanding,to analyze the current phenomena of China's citizen journalism is actually to have an overall grasp of its discipline and regulate the unordered or unordered-likely condition.This article does research according to following logic approaches.In the first place,we take the freedom of press and truthfulness of news from journalistic practice as the two core concepts as well as building the ethical news framework.This paper considers that the freedom of press is the concentrated reflection of humans' freedom in expression right,which is based on and at the service of humans' freedom.This paper considers the freedom of press as two-edged and it can bring both welfare and disaster for public groups and individuals.While the news reality is the criterion of ethical news practice based on the press freedom as well as the analysis tool in the specific news events which applies to logical premise in ethical analysis framework as well.Secondly,according to the previous ethical analysis framework,it analyzes the citizen journalism comprehensively from the perspective of press freedom and truthfulness.This paper considers positively that the major performance of good is to publicizing the spirit of freedom and promotes the public affairs agenda on the whole meaning and increase the self-awareness and meet the right to speech individually.While the worst damage to individuals from freedom of press is the infringement of privacy.It mainly discusses the untruthfulness of citizen journalism to analyze from perspective of news truthfulness.The ethical judgement of news untruthfulness should be specific.The intentional untruthfulness should be resisted an d condemned resolutely without any ethical support.To the untruthfulness caused by deficiency of journalistic professionalism and multiple values,we need to analyze concretely.In the end,according to the ethical analysis of citizen journalism,we argue that the construction of good citizen journalism ethic order needs to be set from three aspects,namely the coordination between professional media and citizen journalism,improvement of people's media ethical accomplishments and the institutional consolidation of protecting press freedom.We believe that improving the media ethic ability is the key point among kinds of measures.We believe that with the help of moral training methods from Porter's model,citizen media ethic abilities can be improved greatly which are also good for the formation of good citizen journalism ethic order.
