The Ming Dynasty is a period which has various literary styles, drama, novels and other popular literature is emerged like bamboo shoots after a spring rain. During this period, there are a large number of literary dwelling type literati, they are not only good at writing poetry, also occupies a space in the field of opera. Tu Long is a versatile scholar in poetry achievement during the late Ming Dynasty, and he also leaving a lot of excellent works. At the same time, Tu Long was also the creation of drama. The opera has handed down a total of three, in the completion time of the sequence, respectively is "Epiphyllum", "color no mind", "record" Xiuwen, the general name of the Fengyi Pavilion Yuefu. "This opera has a very obvious characteristics, the'self-metaphor'is particularly prominent, works into the Tulong circumstances of life and his thought of Buddhism and Taoism, in order to reflect the self and the sustenance of personal emotion and ideal.Through the study of Tu Long's self-metaphor drama can not only help us know more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the dramatist Tu Long, but also understand that in this period the people's general living circumstances and complex inner world.The introduction part of the previous of Tu Long drama research were reviewed and summarized, which help us understand the previous studies of hot spots and weaknesses, clear the combined with the times background and writer's experience of writers and works for an overall analysis of the importance.In this paper, on the basis of previous research, trying to from the late Ming Dynasty era background and Tu Long life experience of and around the remaining three drama works of the characteristic of'self-metaphor',learning the creating reason and rich connotation and artistic value of Tu Long's'self-metaphor'drama. In order to study the whole system of Tu Long's opera, restore a true dramatist Tu Long.Chapter 1:To see Tu Long's opera creation from self-metaphor.This chapter from the shart of'self-metaphor'Opera in the Ming Dynasty, then further into Tu Long's'self-metaphor'Opera. First, made the definition on the'self-metaphor'drama of the Ming Dynasty and clear the concept of the "self-metaphor'drama; then analyse Tu Long's'self-metaphor'drama,and clear the relationship of'self-metaphor'between drama and Tu Long.Chapter 2:Tu Long's'self-metaphor'drama and its creation background. Any of the work are inseparable with the writer himself and the times, the creation background of Tu Long biographical drama mainly comes from two aspects. Firstly, he late Ming period of intense political environment leads to the Tu Long rough official career experience, so he wanted to borrow opera works to expose the dark reality, to express the inner anger; Secondly, the syncretism of the three religions of the Ming Dynasty prevalent promotes the form of Tu Long's Buddhist thought,so his dramas always full of strong ideology of Buddhism and Taoism.Tu Long's unfortunate official career and the strong interes of Buddhism affect Tu Long's 'self-metaphor'drama.Chapter 3:The thought connotation of Tu Long's'self-metaphor'drama. This chapter analyzes the connotation of the'self-metaphor'drama, firstly, Tu Long promote the integration of Confucianism,Taoism, and Buddhism, in the thought of Tu Long that the three seems seemingly different, but actually they have the homologous source. And in attitudes towards Buddhism and Taoism,Tu Long tends to Buddhism, so the thought of "Buddha" consciousness is more prominent in his dramas.Secondly, due to his unfortunate official career experience and to the deep interst of Buddhist world. Tu Long have deeply to doubt and criticism to the social reality. And with the help of Buddhist karma theory and unreal to find inner comfort. Finally, Tu Long gives deep sympathy for those writers who like himrself have mind patriotic salvation, but can not display talented,due to various obstacles.Chapter 4:The artistic skills of Tu Long's 'self-metaphor' drama. This chapter is divided into four parts to explore. Such as theme, plot andcharacters, and spoken parts and lyrics. In the aspect of subject choice, Tulong chose those can reflect the typical self theme, such as performance of Buddhism and Taoism in personal fairy Buddha theme and who has the similar life experience,or dismissed by others in official career.In terms of plot structure, because self-metaphor' drama services for playwright personal written his heart. In general, the spoken parts and lyrics complement each other, do their best.Chapter 5:The influence and significance of Tu Long's'self-metaphor'drama plays in the development of Chinese drama.Tu Long's "self-metaphor'drama is the literati writing experience beneficial practice, is to enhance the literati's subjectivity, and scholars involved in drama creation improve drama appreciation and taste in literature to a certain extent,and it is an important impetus for'scholarly style'process. However, Tu Long's'self-metaphor'drama but also has unfavorable factors for the stage.The drama which is too'scholarly style',it's not too suitable for the stage.This make originally should be to develop "drama on the stage" draw alienation in order to "drama on the book", and has the adverse effects for the development and spread of traditional Chinese drama.Overall, Tu Long'self-metaphor'drama has important significance in the literary writing on the heart. The drama shows life circumstances and complex inner world, not only is the true portrayal of Tu Long personal, but also shows literati group common state in the late Ming Dynasty.This is based on the'self-metaphor'drama,from the opera text and the background of writer to grasp and analysis. Try to through their own efforts as much as possible to slaughter the uplift and the biographical drama is a comprehensive presentation, strive to make up for deficiencies in the previous studies, and contribute my own strength for Tu Long's drama studies.
