Chunzhu Jiwen is a Chinese classical note written by He Wei in Song dynasty. The book,with only more than fifty thousand words, containing a quite rich content, is a valuable note of Song dynasty.This dissertation, based on the research achievements of predecessors,conducted a comprehensive study in Chunzhu Jiwen from the perspective of vocabulary.The dissertation is divided into five parts.The introduction is presented in the first part, including significance of the selected topic,the research object, research status, research methods, the key point and the difficult point of the study.The second part is study on monosyllabic words in Chunzhu Jiwen.This part, from perspective of the part of speech and word meaning, sums up the the basic features of monosyllabic words in Chunzhu Jiwen, inspected the relation between synonymy and antonymy of monosyllabic words, and summarizes its characteristics.The third part mainly studied polysyllabics words in Chunzhu Jiwen.This part, from the perspective of part of speech and syllable partition, sums up the the basic features of polysyllabics words, counts the number of them and its proportion of the book, classifies the disyllabic words mainly from the word formation and then concludes the characteristics of polysyllabics words.The fourth part presents compilation value of vocabulary in Chunzhu Jiwen for large dictionaries. By comparing the Grand Chinese Dictionary, we supplement their entry, meaning items, documentary evidence.The fifth part is conclusion of this dissertation.We make a brief overview of this paper,and put forward the orientation of the follow-up study.
