English language scholars studied and found that there is chunks phenomenon in a natural language. What is Chunks? Chunk is previously stored as a whole in the human brain, it has a certain structure, a certain significance. Speaker can use simple language chunks in the brain to speak fluently. Many Chinese linguists through its own research shows that in Chinese there are also Chinese chunks. Chinese Chunks theoretically beneficial to reduce the difficulty of Chinese learners in Chinese expression. At the same time it will help Chinese language learners to understand the speaker’s intention to reduce their language barrier in the process of learning. Under the guidance of the theory of chunks learners relatively easy to achieve both good communicative interaction. Meanwhile the chunks can improve the accuracy of communication.In theory, chunks can help to promote teaching second language and the learners in favor of second language acquisition. In this paper, by drawing on previous research results, the chunks theory and teaching practice as a combination. Through the analysis, carding Thai people learning Chinese I and in take the Thai students as the study subject,the Chinese chunks will be taught to students in learning Chinese language progress. In such a way to test the effect of chunk teaching methods. I try to provide a new way of thinking for teaching Chinese as a Second Language.
