The county of Long Zhou in Guangxi is an ancient commercial port in the border between China and Vietnam. In the early twentieth century, it became political, economic and cultural center of the Zuo Jiang Area, known as "Small Hong Kong", due to its special geographical location. Long Zhou is a strategic border defense point in southern China so far from the ancient times, has the long history of Communist revolutionary tradition. The local people had strong revolutionary consciousness, because of experiencing the baptism of revolution is very earlier. During the 1930 s and 1940 s, many Vietnamese revolutionaries sneaked into Long Zhou, for seeking the way to save their nation. They developed revolution to resist France with the vigorously support of the Communist Party of China and the local people in Long Zhou. The research object of this paper is the revolutionary relationship between China and Vietnam, which built up in Long Zhou during the period of the Vietnamese war of resistance against France. The thesis consists of four parts. The first part mainly analyzes the reasons of Long Zhou became the revolutionary base of Vietnam resisting France. The second part focuses on the analysis the revolutionary friendship, built up by Vietnamese revolutionaries and local people in Long Zhou, which is also the core part of the essay. The third part analyses the continuation of revolutionary friendship between two countries after the liberation of Vietnam. In the fourth part, the thesis summarizes practical significance to the establishment of the revolutionary friendship between the two countries. This paper aims at inheriting and developing the revolutionary relationship and fine tradition between China and Vietnam. Through the method of analysis and reducing the historical facts, in order to let Chinese and Vietnamese youth to understand the history and revolutionary relationship established by the older generation of revolutionaries between China and Vietnam during the 1930 s and 1940 s in the 20 th century and implement the “16 words policy” and “4 good spirits” of China and Vietnam.
