In recent years, along with the increasingly enlargement of graduate students, Graduate School procrastination phenomenon has attracted more and more attention to the state and society. However, for the study of students’ academic delays caused by reasons and related factors of research and discussion is rare. Under the background of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, graduate student group is the reserve army of talents in our country, and research students’ academic procrastination behavior is quite serious, it will drag on their learning quality decline and hinder the development of scientific research and innovation ability of graduate, a waste of educational resources, the study of China’s graduate education have adverse effects. Therefore, this study focuses on the actual, to explore the impact of graduate students’ achievement motivation, academic burnout, time management disposition on academic procrastination, and then provide the strategies and methods to improve the academic procrastination of graduate students.This study with academic procrastination scale, academic burnout scale, achievement motivation scale, time management disposition table, four universities in Henan University, Guizhou Normal University, Jiangxi Normal University, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, 600 graduate subjects were investigated with a self-designed questionnaire, recycling effective questionnaire 512, The reliability analysis, validity analysis, factor analysis, regression analysis, analysis of variance and intermediary test statistics, on academic procrastination and academic burnout, achievement motivation and time management tendency of four variables in-depth analysis and discussion. The results are as follows:(1) The academic procrastination scale, academic burnout scale, achievement motivation scale, time management disposition table to check the reliability and validity, in line with the psychometric requirements, can be used in the present study.(2) In all subjects, 79.91% of the graduate students had a moderate degree of procrastination; graduate academic procrastination tendency of has significant differences in gender; the procrastination level of graduate students with higher grade and showing a rising trend; Graduate School delay in the academic master, professional master’s degree, there was no difference.(3) Achievement motivation, time management disposition and academic procrastination has significant negative correlation, learning burnout and academic procrastination was positively correlated.(4) To avoid failure motivation can significantly positively predict academic procrastination, the trend of the motivation to succeed can significantly negative predict academic procrastination; three dimensions of burnout can significantly positively predict academic procrastination; time management disposition of the three subscales are significantly negative to predict academic procrastination.(5) Academic burnout and time management disposition play an intermediary role between achievement motivation and academic procrastination.(6) The parallel multiple mediating effects of burnout, time management disposition between achievement motivation and academic procrastination from.
