With the Social transformation driven by industrial civilization and technological progress,as well As the economic growth,humankind has grown All the way from the Stone Age into the Post Information Era.At the same time,the design industry has Also Been evolving And Booming,and has become increasingly relevant in today’s society.However,today’s society,where technology,knowledge and information are easily accessible,has posed inevitable challenges for design industry,such as frequent occurrence of natural and man-made disasters of all kinds.For this reason,designers,as the producer,creator and provider of production and life,can make their part of contribution,and that’s how healing design emerges.This thesis will integrate psychology and design by expounding the importance of the role curing design has played in meeting people’s spiritual and mental needs,as well as the way it cures.The emergence of curing design is inevitable and significant.In this paper,we also discuss methods to endow people-oriented design with mental curing treatment.Our goal is to ensure that with the development and diversification of design,due attention is paid to people’s spiritual and mental demands during the design process.This paper will also analyze the trend of curing design,and appeal the design community to contribute to people’s spiritual civilization by creating more good pieces of work filled with charm of personality,so as to better solve the psychological problems related to our survival and living environments,and to better serve the people.
