The Comparative Study Of “?” And “??”?“??(?)”

The nouns of locality is basic parts of speech to express time and space in modern Chinese.Because of the high use frequency and complex usage,it become an important subject of modern Chinese grammar research.However,the comparative study of Single or double syllable is less judging from the existing research results,so we selects a set of similar semantic locality“shang(?)”?“shangmian(??)”?“shangbian(tou)(??/?)”as the research object.Put"Cognitive meaning"and"rail layer form"the principle of combining as the initial point of grammar study and compiled modern Chinese corpus,description and analysis the possibility of combination and collocation of“shang(?)”?“shangmian(??)”?“shangbian(??/?)”with nouns?prepositions,discusses the syntactic function differences of single or double syllable locality.The full text is divided into five parts.The first chapter,introduction. Narrates the research origin and the significance of this article, the research object and the research way of thinking, combed and summarized the research achievements of predecessors. Finally illustrates corpus sources used in this article.The second chapter,put the asymmetry of the collocation of locality with single or double syllable as the starting point.Comprehensive description the possibility of collocation of“shang1(?1)”with Single or double syllable nouns.Put forward the new ideas that double syllable locality can combination with single-syllable noun.Then analysis constraints of combination and it is the most mainly studies that the combination conditions of single-syllable noun with“shangmian1(??1)”.After examining the new conclusions,because affected by the rhythm and the semantic configuration together,there is a big difference between the collocation that single or double syllable nouns with“shang(?1)”?“shangmian(??1)”?“shangbian(??1/?1)”.The third chapter,not only inspect collocation of“shang2(?2)”?“shangmian2(??2)”?“shangbian2(??2/?2)”with abstract noun or specificnoun.The fourth chapter,we will focus on the collocation of prepositions and”shang3(?3)”?“shangmian3(??3)”?“shangbian3(??3/?3)”.Through survey of Peking University CCL corpus of corpora,Found the match requirement of single syllable with“shang3(?3)”,but the double syllable locality must match with front prepositions and composed fixed format“preposition+X+shang mian/shangbian(tou)”.Come to the conclusion that the main function of preposition+X+shang3”act as adverbial,“preposition+X+shangmian/shangbian(tou)”act as complement.The fifth chapter, conclusion. Summarized the main work and the basic conclusion, innovation, and points out the deficiency of this article, then puts forward the idea for future research.
