The Analysis Of Common Error By Thai Students And Strategies For Teaching Chinese Proverbs

Proverbs are an integral part of national language.Every nation has its own proverb treasury.Learning Chinese proverbs can be quite difficult for students from Thailand.Chinese proverbs are a significant contributor to the challenges faced by many students from Thailand as they study the Chinese language.First,I would like to point out some facts about purpose and background of the topic of this work,including the thinking and formation behind Chinese proverbs and research in the relationship between them and proverbs in Thai languages,and present contrast studies between the two with regards to definition,semantics,and structure.Second,I will provide and analyze the results of a questionnaire survey taken by students from Thailand which attempts to explain some of the perceived reasons for making mistakes in studying Mandarin.At the end of my research,I provide a combination of instructional strategies for proverbs in MandarinIn order to comprehend these issues I propose some recommendations that might better assist teachers of Mandarin,specifically to a Thailand student body.Because my language and writing skills are limited this work contains some mistakes and drawbacks.I will continue to improve my Chinese in the future.
