Study On Jimo Dialect

Jimo, located in Shandong Peninsula,is a historical city.The historical literature recorded,ancient people had resided in early city of Jimo during the Spring and Autumn period.The dialect spreaded and developed from generation to generation after mang years.By the beginning of the twenty-first century,although be affected by the assimilation of Mandarin,the Jimo dialect still retains its own local characteristics and some archaic components in some aspects such as pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar,etc.In the 90's of the last century,the dialect survey has been done on the Jimo dialect.However,time changes,and the voice is developing and changing.It is beneficial to enrich the research results of dialect through investigations.This paper takes Jimo dialect as the research object,and uses the methods of description,experiment and interpretation to study it.The first chapter is introduction.It states the background and the status situation of the paper.And it introduces all aspects of Jimo dialects briefly.The second chapter is about voice research.From field surveys, we find the some voice that not previously been used has been gradually used in the young generation.This is the role of assimilation.The third chapter makes experimental voice analysis for Jimo dialect.With the minispeechlab and praat voice analysis software,we can analysis plosives,single vowel and tone of Jimo dialect and make the acoustic pattern diagram.In the new era,the development of cross subject makes the experimental phonetics study also applied to the study of linguistics.With the aid of experimental speech analysis tool,we can observe the pronunciation situation and characteristics of pronunciation more directly.The fourth chapter descripts the vocabulary features of Jimo dialect.The dialect words are the vocabulary of each dialect social group.They are unified internal and external significance differentiated vocabulary.For a long time,there are a lot of dialect words that have sound and meaning but no shape in Jimo dialect.Studying these words' etymology is a huge project.The fifth chapter is a study on grammar features of Jimo dialect.Features of Jimo dialect's grammar consistent with Jiaoliao dialect's.The study of comparative sentence,passive sentence and special grammatical phenomena is verysignificant.All these aspects of the research can enrich the overall outcome of Jimo dialect.The sixth chapter makes a conclusion of this paper.It summarizes changes of Jimo dialect on the aspect of voice and grammar through the research results.And I talk about my view on the value of the paper.
