On The Creative Characateristic Of Cai Zhiheng ’s Network Novel

At the end of 20 th century,with the population of network literature,there occured amounts of grassroots writers.Cai Zhiheng was famous for his novel The First Close Contact,and became the first writer of network literature in China.From then on,as a free-time and network writer,Cai has kept writing with the speed of one novel a year.Until now,he has published 9 long-gestating novels and 14 short novels.Dramatic changes have been taken in the field of network novels as which have developed into a situation with different types,writers,readers and carriers.As the diversity development of network novels,they are also called Fast-food Culture.Many network literatures put high value on appealing the population and improving the click rates of readers,and even try to please the public with claptrap.To Cai’s novels,however,shedding light on the idea of simple and free creation for writing,Cai has insisted on moving people by emotion,pursued the principle of sincerity and virtuousness,and delivered positive energy and humanism in his works.This thesis will elaborate the creative features of Cai Zhiheng’s network novels from the perspective of simple and beautiful love,touching family and the unforgotten affection to the motherland.At the same time,the author analyzes the similarities and differences between Cai’s novels and the same kind online novels with high click rate.At last,the author puts up her own opinions on whether network novels should apply the basic principles of literature creation,and how to keep literateness and humanism.
