My Views About The Difficulty On The Play Pipa Tune “Xu Lai”

Bamboo The Pipa is the king of Chinese musical instruments, which belonging to the plucked category of instruments, it has a history of over 2,000 years. After the years of evolvement, now the Pipa has the significant value and status in both home and abroad. Pipa Tune "xu lai" is one of the representative works from the composer Liu Tianhua, since then, he had combined the guqin's playing artistry and used in the "xu lai" tactfully. Here in "La note "," Stroke and carry over" and a series of difficult left hand techniques constitute the unique style of the work. In this paper, I put effort to analyze the difficulties of playing this musical instrument, with the combination of my own playing experiences. My enthusiasm to learn and share the different perspectives with each other helped me to analyze it through the different directions. Which are, "artistic conception", "speed and strength" and "breath”. These three different directions solve the problems in the performance of emotional expression.
