An Analysis Of The Relationship Between The Modeling And The Article Of Contemporary Freehand Figure Painting

View from the development history of the Chinese freehand figure painting,the relationship between brushstroke and modeling has been paid much attention.In the diversified modern period,the development of the Chinese freehand figure painting will be restricted by modeling and brushstroke.Brushstroke cannot play its role to the fullest without the firm modeling foundation.Modeling without brushstroke will also lose the meaning of Chinese traditional figure painting.This paper will make a brief introduction to the relationship between brushstroke and modeling,and state my understanding of the relationship in the process of painting and my understanding of paingting,based on the contemporary representatives of ink figure painting.
