For Marx and Fromm, the Alienation has a great philosophic meaning. As a philosopher, who had conducted a thorough research about the Alienation in the 19 th century, Marx creatively put forward the Theory of Alienation Labor by absorbing the previous researches, which had a crucial significance in finding the survival condition among the people in the early Capitalism era. Marx’s Alienation Labor Thought and the upgraded Theory of Human Liberation are of great importance to the future generations. Fromm, in the 20 th century, also concerned hugely about the Alienation. Due to the academic and age differences, Marx and Fromm had different understandings and analysis towards the Alienation theory. One focused more on historical practice and the other cared psychological experience.The differences between the theories of Marx and Fromm give us the basis to analyze the Alienation theory and to carry the comparative research through the elaboration and analysis. This paper is roughly divided into four parts, background, concept, origin and points of the elimination of alienation. According to that, the paper will deeply analyze the comparison of the related theories and research.Alienation is a kind of historical phenomenon, and is more like a unique perspective for understanding the society and human. Under the people oriented concept, this paper aims to explore the influence and profound significance of Marx’s the Theory of Alienation Labor and the Fromm’s Psychological Alienation through the comparative research of them. Hopefully, it would make a certain contribution to contemporary economic and social development. We attempt to find a key, at the mean time, that can help us to understand the living circumstances and solve the common problems in this modern society. |
