With the passage of time,the amount of information that people receive at the same time is gradually increasing. And the way of life, learning and work is also slowly being changed.High school students as a member of the environment are also experiencing these changes,and their psychological stress may be different from the results of previous studies.Therefore,to understand the current situation of high school students' psychological stress is very important to carry out mental health education in high school and also vital to take more targeted measures to alleviate the psychological stress of high school students.The theoretical model of this study is the cognitive interaction model of stress which was put forward by Lazarus.The theory assumes that there is a mutual effect of stress and health,and stress is the link between demand and the rational response to these demands.Whether stimuli can become stress is determined by the individual's cognitive assessment,and different environment, emotion and motivation will also affect the evaluation process.Therefore, the phenomenon of high school students' psychological stress should be understood as,high school students in the perception and evaluation from the internal and external environment of the stimulus will have the feeling of psychological imbalance,and this mental imbalance may lead to the unique stress reaction to physical, cognitive, behavioral, emotional and other aspects of the individual, and trying to adopt a unique way to cope with the stress reaction.This research used the questionnaire survey method and interview method to study the current situation of high school students'mental stress.And the questionnaire is composed of four parts, including basic information survey, as well as the survey of stressors, stress reaction and coping.Meanwhile,this study used the cluster random sampling method to extract three classes of students as the subjects who came from three grades of the two high schools which were in Hohhot city and Hulunbuir city,respectively.And the questionnaire survey was conducted on these 801 high school students and 3 senior middle school teachers were interviewed.Study found that:(1) The biggest stressor of high school students is the teacher stress,and the emotional and cognitive responses of stress were more obvious,and they prefer used positive coping style.In addition,the answers from the open questions could be seen that high school students for the understanding of the stress response was more simple, should be modified to use the words in the questionnaire.High school students liked to use a positive way to vent,which should be added to the stress coping questionnaire.(2) There was a significant difference between high school students' stressors in the area, grade, gender, subject and mode of study.(3) There was a significant difference between high school students' stress reaction on the only child, subject and way of studying.(4) There was a significant difference between high school students' stress coping style in the area, grade, gender, the only child, subject and way of studying.(5)There was a significant correlation between high school students' stressors, stress coping (positive and negative) and stress reaction.The stress reaction was positively predicted by the negative coping and the stressors significantly,and the negative coping explanation of the total variation was 31.0%,and the stressors explanation of the total variation was 10.9%;positive coping had a significant negative predictive effect on stress response, and the amount of prediction was 0.4%.The negative coping acted partial mediator between the stressors and the stress reaction, and the mediating effect was 30.0%, and this mediating effect was less than the direct effect of the stressors on the stress reaction (0.151<0.352)Finally, according to the current situation of high school students' psychological stress obtained in the study, and combined with previous research results, we could put forward that to alleviate the universal psychological stress of high school students, can be affected from the following four aspects:the guidance of social culture, the attention of the school and the teachers, the understanding and support of the parents,and the conscious self-relief of the students.Whether the detailed countermeasures of these four aspects can effectively alleviate the psychological stress of high school students also need to practice and test in the future education activities.
