| The subject of the thesis is the poems concerning horse, which were included in the journal The Grassland of Flowers since 1950s. The purposes of the study are to explore the contents and the characteristics of those poems, to show the development of Mongolian poems since 1950s, and to study the image of horse as an inheritance in Mongolian contemporary literature.The thesis is composed of six parts, namely; introduction, chapter one, chapter two, bibliography, conclusion, and postscript. In the introduction, the author provides the purpose, the significance, and the method of the study.Chapter one provides us with the classification of the poems concerning horse in The Grassland of Flowers; poems concerning horse from 1950s to 1970s, from 1980s to 1990s, and 21st century. Moreover, this part explores the significance and development of the poems in those periods.Chapter two analyzed the artistic characteristics of the poems from the perspectives of art, narrative style, and the horse art. |
