Research On Modern Value Of Confucius’s Thought Of Talents

Confucius is a great thinker, educator and talent in ancient China, he was the first to create private teaching system, and he also put forward the education of civilians, broke the learning in the situation of the rulers for the first time, and realized the civil education. During his lifetime, he was tireless in teaching others, cultivated "seventy-two" sages, and has accumulated rich experience in the talent thought, he also has a significant influence on the virtuous talents cultivating ancient China and the formation of the talent concept of the Chinese nation.This paper takes "the Analects of Confucius" as the research object, and I turned to the related literature, stood in the perspective of the new era reviewing Confucius’s talent thought, based on previous studies, on the basis of further explore its connotation, discusses the modern value of the talent thought. This paper includes six parts:the first chapter is the introduction part of the article. This chapter mainly introduced the background of the topic, the current situation of domestic and foreign research, the theoretical and practical significance of the study and the research ideas and methods. The second chapter summarized the history of Confucius’s life and historical background of the formation of talent thought. Through the analysis of Confucius’ life, talent thought of economic, political, and cultural reasons, discussed the historical basis of the formation of Confucius’s Thought on Talents, and on this basis summarizes the talent of Confucius thought on the effect of the practice of his life. The third chapter to fifth chapter is the main part of this paper. In the third chapter, there is a detailed analysis of these three aspects:the standard view of the Confucius thought, cultivating view, and the using view, and clarified the connotation of the talent thought deeply. It mainly includes those who have both ability and political integrity, strong sense of social responsibility as the important content of talent value standard; with a gentleman’s personality as its talent training goal of talent cultivation;based on principles of knowing one’s subordinates well and assign them appropriately, mercenary is talent view of using basic content, etc. The fourth chapter, we make to evaluate Confucius’s thought of talents. Including the three aspects of content:characteristics of the talent thought, practice effects, and limitations. Based on this, the fifth chapter, probes into the thought contains the modern significance of Confucius talents. In recognizing the talent thought, on the basis of basic connotation, emphatically discusses characteristics of moral education,its modern society talent standard, talent cultivation and use of enlightenment, and the modern significance of future value outlook, etc. The sixth chapter is the conclusion of the article. The paper summarizes and combed the talent thought of Confucius and its enlightenment to modern society.Through the review of the talent thought, the article conclusion can be summarized as the following aspects in general:first, Confucius’s talent and profound thoughts, have rich and profound connotation. Including the connotation of the "what" and "how to treat and evaluate" and "how to draw lessons from it and make use of it" such as the basic content. Second, on the basis of analyzing and studying Confucius’s thought of talents, dig the modern value contained in its thought deeply, and it has a positive significance in the present talent theory and practice.
