| Objective:To understand the present situation of college students’ childhood abuse,personality and interpersonal interaction;To investigate the relations among college students’ childhood abuse,personality and interpersonal interaction;To analyze the path how childhood abuse affect college students’ interpersonal interaction via personality;Trying to provides the basis on exploring the early causes of college students’ interpersonal interaction and improving college students interpersonal condition.Methods:By stratified cluster sampling method,we collected 804 university students’ in grade one,grade two and grade three from a university in Wuhu,Anhui province as research object.The questionnaires for using were self-designed general information questionnaire,Childhood Trauma Questionnaire,Eysenck Personality Questionnaire and Interpersonal Relationship Questionnaire.Results:(1)College students’ interpersonal interaction shows differences on gender,only child and family structure(p<0.05).The level of male interpersonal conversation,Interpersonal skill,contact to opposite sex were higher than female(p<0.05);the level of only child communication manners were higher than non only child(p<0.05);college students from urban had a higher level in contact to opposite sex than college students from rural(p<0.05);the level of multi-generational family students’ contact to opposite sex were higher than ordinary families(p<0.05);(2)College students’ personality shows differences on gender,only child and family structure,family address,only child and parents’ educational level.the male scores of introversion and extroversion were higher than female(p<0.05);the female scores of emotional stability were higher than male(p<0.05);the male scores of psychoticism were higher than female(p<0.05);the male scores of lie were higher than female(p<0.05);college students from urban had a higher scores than college students from rural in introversion and extroversion(p<0.05);college students who was only child had higher scores than non-only child in introversion and extroversion(p<0.05);college students whose parents had different educational degree had a significant different scores in introversion and extroversion(p<0.05).(3)College students’ childhood abuse shows differences on gender,family address,parents’ educational degree and parents’ job(p<0.05).the level of male physical abuse and sexual abuse were higher than female(p<0.05);the level of female emotional neglect were higher than male(p<0.05);the emotional neglect level of students from urban were higher than students from rural(p<0.05).(4)College students’ emotional abuse shows positive correlation with emotional stability,psychoticism and lie of personality;the physical abuse shows positive correlation with emotional stability and psychoticism of personality;the sexual abuse shows positive correlation with emotional stability,psychoticism and lie of personality;the emotional neglect shows positive correlation with introversion and extroversion of personality,and shows negative correlation with emotional stability and psychoticism of personality.(5)College students’ introversion and extroversion shows negative correlation with interpersonal conversation,interpersonal skills and contact to opposite sex of interpersonal interaction;emotional stability,psychoticism and lying shows positive correlated with each dimension of interpersonal interaction disturbance.(6)College students’ emotional abuse,physical abuse and sexual abuse shows positive correlation with each dimension of interpersonal interaction disturbance;emotional neglect shows negative correlated with each dimension of interpersonal interaction disturbance.(7)In a certain extent,childhood abuse can predict college students’ personality;personality can predict college students’ interpersonal interaction;childhood abuse can predict college students’ international interaction.(8)College students’ personality plays a complete intermediary role between childhood abuse and interpersonal interaction.Conclusions:College Students’ childhood abuse,personality and interpersonal interaction in terms of demographic variables had differences;College student’ childhood abuse had some effects on personality and interpersonal interaction;College student’ childhood abuse affected interpersonal interaction through the complete intermediary role of personality. |
