On Liu Zongzhou’s Understanding Of The Late Ming Social Crisis

Liu Zongzhou was a famous neo-confucianism of the Ming dynasty,who took an important position in the history of science.The current domestic academia research about Liu Zongzhou’s understanding of late Ming social crisis is less.In this paper,to interpret the Liu Zongzhou’s thinking development and writing text,from which to explore Liu Zongzhou’s understanding of social crisis of the late Ming dynasty and argues that to solved the crisis of late Ming dynasty society position as a foothold,evaluation analysis of his ideas and advocated.This article mainly includes five parts:The first part,introduce the Liu Zongzhou’s life and academic thoughts.The second part,combined with Liu Zongzhou’s historical background of the crisis of the late Ming dynasty society.In the attitude of Liu Zongzhou’s to comb,inductive,he showed us the monarch blunder,intolerance of dissent,and acquisition corrupt,the destitution of people’s life,outside invasion civil strife five aspects of civil strife.The third part,the paper expounds Liu Zongzhou’s understandings about the cause of the late Ming dynasty social crisis,I plan to divide this part into four aspects,the monarch in the heart,political factions,management,the administration of finance.The fourth part,I analysis Liu Zongzhou argues that to solved the crisis of the late Ming dynasty society to focused on the Mencius′s methods of being a king,settlment of the court,the heart of academicacademic and livelihood issues,etc.The fifth part,discussed the thought characteristic speech Liu Zongzhou’s way to saved the social crisis,including its saved social crisis in the overall nature of the speech,the salvation feelings of moral idealism,analysis of the monarch psychological problem,saved the social crisis thought limitation of speech,etc,and combined with background of Ming dynasty,analyzes these ideas discussed in this part.Liu Zongzhou followed the Confucian orthodoxy he based on,Confucian moral idealism to shaped the ideal society,spare no effort to try to saved the late Ming dynasty social crisis.He hopes to return to the Confucian ideal of the state,consolidate the Confucian ethic rank order.His focus was not adapted to social development,but strengthen the conquer of monarchy and the traditional social order.The emergence of social crisis of the late Ming dynasty,was not absolute monarchy system and a series of system couldn’t adapted to the social economy and the external environment changed.Although he had a strong salvation feelings and the heart of loyal and love to his nation.but in front of the late Ming dynasty social crisis he was hard to get out of the Confucian tradition thinking cognitive framework,but fell into the predicament of the intentional salvation could not pick up the slack.In fact,social operation can not only rely on moral power,but it should also follow some reality principle.So,this would require the thinkers have a more clear understanding of the social system at that times.
