The Primary Study On William·Blake's Irony In His Poetry

William Blake(1757-1827)is a greatest romantic poet,and one of the famous English poet,printmaker in the history of English literature.Blake's life had been dull and rich,but his ideas and artistic achievements were like pearls in the sand glistened in his life being not found until had died for a long time.Blake lived in a time of great social change,the basis of a variety of ideas and concepts brought him a complex and profound influence,reflected in his poetry works,constitute his unique poetry style Black irony,but the existing Blackburn domestic and international studies,their works of irony in artistic exploration rare.Western Literary Theories in irony as an important word,the concept has undergone a long process of development in the long river of history in Western culture,from the very beginning of ancient Greek,Roman mainly a rhetorical rather by people to understand and use,later becoming a conceptual level poetics,irony has become the principle and structure of poetry,and later then the philosophical level as a way of thinking,values,attitudes.In this study,mainly from the poetic artistic perspective to understand irony,from irony that perspective Blake irony in-depth analysis of the factors,the specific application and explore the art of irony embodied in his poetry text.The main contents of this paper is to explore Blake's irony in art,the use of literature analysis method,based on the analysis of western irony theory and Black Irony artistic background,references to Blake typical poems,from the language,structure and themes of three a perspective Blake irony in artistic expression,concluded Black irony art features.On the specific structure of the paper is divided into an introduction,the Western theory of traditional and Black ironic irony art background,Blake ironic artistic expression,artistic features Black irony,the conclusion of five parts.The first part of the introduction,is the narrative background,including a brief review and study abroad Blackburn and his poetry and poetry of Blake in three phases.The second part discusses the traditional and artistic background Black Irony and Western Irony theories,including the theory of irony and development process to produce combing in the West,as well as the social background and theoretical origin of Black ironic artistic exploration.The third part analyzes the Blake ironic artistic expression.Works with specific concrete explanation from the language,structure and themes in three areas.The forth part summarizes the Blake Art of Irony features.Including detailed discussion of philosophical,religious transcendence and three characteristics.The fifth part is conclusion,mainly on the entire paper contents and summary conclusions,and the shortcoming of this research.
