Neuvo Tango :An Analysis Of Performance Of Recomposed Piano Duets

With respect to Neuvo Tango music, the first figure comes into mind is an Argentina avant-garde musician— ástor Piazzolla. For the sake of enthusiasm, ástor Piazzolla devoted himself into tango music world. He not only learnt from traditional tango music, but also from classical music and modern music. His renovation of Tango music has created a new art form—Neuvo Tango music.In modern and contemporary China, piano duets are getting more and more attention. Piano duets music has been practiced in class rooms, but also performed on stage. This thesis studies two pieces of recomposed Piano duets work Liber Tango and Le Grand Tango by giving a detailed analysis of composition and interpretation of performance.
