The Study Of Zemgor

With the outbreak of the World War I,Russian domestic nationalism has risen sharply.To support the war,Russian liberal movement organized the All-Russian Union of Zemstvos and the All-Russian Union of Towns,based on which,liberal parties pushed the new union——Zemgor,whose main idea was ‘Supply to the Army',to the historical stage.During the war,Zemgor indeed made a great contribution in the front and rear,and its strength was developed meanwhile.Due to the change of the war and domestic political situation,Zemgor actively participated in the Russian politics,and in the February Revolution played an important role in the process of planning and development.However,the inundant anarchism resulted in Zemgor's dropping out of the political stage after the February Revolution.As a branch of important social and political power,Zemgor finally died out in Russia after the Bolsheviks in power.
