In this essay, an ancient Mongolian story about a Buddha-Beads-wearing cat eating a mouse will be discussed and analyzed using the methods of historical geography and cultural anthropology.This essay will be divided into five parts:Introduction, main body of the essay, conclusion, references and bibliography.In the first part, the purpose and significance of this research, the motion of selecting this subject and a brief explanation of the related methods used in the essay will be offered.The first chapter of the main body will briefly introduce the current version of the story, and study the origin, classification and its social and cultural background.The second chapter of the main body will give an analysis of the story from a typological approach, classify and organize the plot type and image type of the story.The third chapter of the main body talks about the cultural connotation of the story from a religious, mathematical and linguistic point of view. |
