The Comment Of Gu Yanwu On The Style Of Study In Late Ming Dynasty

Gu Yanwu,Huang Zongxi and Wang Fuzhi are known as the three pundit,and were famous ideologist and historian at the beginning of the Qing dynasty.The Rizhilu is a masterpiece of Gu Yanwu which has a huge impact on later generations.Because of his life between the Ming and Qing dynasty,which experienced complex social environment and special life contents made him form a unique critical consciousness.The full text consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction mainly introduces the social situation of Gu Yanwu's time,Gu Yanwu's family influence and his own experience,Gu Yanwu's representative works Rizhilu and Gutinglin Poetry Anthology,and the research status of the criticism of the academic atmosphere in Ming dynasty which introduces the topic basis and the significance of this research.The paper has four parts,the first part is Gu Yanwu's criticism of the Wan Ming prattle trend in academic atmosphere.It includes the criticism of prattle by Wang Yangming,criticism of prattle by change books and engrave books.The second part is criticism of paying attention to the text of Wan Ming which involves paying attention to the text and the text of the defect.The third part is criticism of the academic atmosphere by plagiarism and imitation,which includes literati imitation disease,the complexity of the problem discussed in this paper,and so on.The fourth part is criticism of the academic atmosphere which people seek for fame and profit.The part discusses the hazard of seeking fame and profit,the development thought of Gu Yanwu and the influence of latter generations.This thesis comes to the conclusion: Gu Yanwu criticism of academic atmosphere of the Wan Ming opens a new generation of academic atmosphere in Qing dynasty,has guiding function to the modern and the modern critical consciousness.But,it exists a number of shortcomings and limitations inevitably.For example,the negation of Yang-Ming Xin-Xue existed a long time in history,the significance of it has not been forthcoming.The criticism on the Imperial Examination System,only to see the harm of academic atmosphere by imperial examination system,not see a banner for progress to imperial examination system.
